How long will this site be online?This domain is registered until January, 2011, so, we will keep this site up and running for many years!
Why can’t I buy 1 pixel?You will see the homepage is divided into 10,000 of these blocks. The reason for selling them in these blocks is because anything smaller than 10x10 pixels would be too small to display anything meaningful.
How does it work?For a one time fee which varies depending on the size of your image advertisement (one pixel = $1.00 U.S.) you own a premium area on GetOnePixel.com for five years. Of course, you may choose to advertise your site for FREE in the lower section and while this is a very useful area for free promotion which helps generate traffic, studies have shown that the typical user focuses first in the top left area of a page and then across to the right on the horizontal, before glancing down. Images in the free area expire after 30 days.
The selection, reservation and purchase of pixels is fully automated online. When you have selected your pixels in the premium area no-one else can buy them (as long as you pay for them of course). The process is easy to grasp and you can practice before buying by placing your image in the free area (you can easily delete it after).
How do I pay for my pixels?PayPal is our current payment processor. PayPal will charge you the equivalent of the fee in your local currency. If you don't have a PayPal account you can quickly and easily set one up during the payment process. The entire payment process is automated so your pixels can be online within minutes!
